Shaybali specializes in private label batik product development for mail order and on line retailers. Our apparel and duvets feature an ancient batik method that is truly unique. Our production facilities are located in Bali, Indonesia. Specializing in women’s apparel, duvets, pillow shams, table linens and window treatments.
About Us

Founder & Artist

Meet Shay

Shaybali founder, Shay Steinmann, found her creative side at the University of Florida as an art major. Her fashion career began as a multi-line apparel sales rep in Northern California. She attracted hundreds of stores seeking novelty, one-of-a-kind items with her brightly colored, tropical-themed showrooms and booths in San Francisco, Portland & Seattle markets. Her hand-made batiks from Bali, Indonesia, which featured vibrant colors and beautiful textures and patterns, quickly became her biggest sellers.

Shay is also an artist & has continued to make art throughout her life. Her vibrant, colorful paintings and ceramics reflect her love for nature, the tropical flora, and fauna of Florida, Bali and Costa Rica. She finds her inspiration by traveling to these tropical destinations!
